STATE OF OHIO v. J. B.: Assault, Menacing, and Resisting Arrest charges are all dismissed

Our Columbus firm represented a 24-year-old Marysville woman who was charged with Assault, Resisting Arrest, and Menacing.  The case, filed in Marysville Municipal Court, involved an alleged assault of a Union County Jobs and Family Services worker.  Our client faced 180 days in jail for Assault, 90 days for Resisting Arrest, and 30 days for Menacing.

After Columbus attorney Todd A. Long, one of the best criminal defense attorneys in our office, filed a well-researched pretrial motion, the prosecution agreed to dismiss all charges.  The dismissal was clearly the result of Mr. Long’s hard work researching and documenting the motion to dismisl.
